Abstract

In the last years, a connectionbetween black hole physics and quantum information theory has beenestablished. Such a connection has been used to explore a variety ofproblems in different fields, from the quantum gravity theories to thedynamic of many body systems. In some cases, the entanglement entropy, quantum complexity and mutual information can be obtained by means of dualgravitational models, and applied to the study of strongly correlatedsystems. This relation between black hole physics ans quantum informationtheory has also been used to investigate fundamental problems in gravitationtheory, such as the paradox of information loss in black holes throughHawking radiation. In the present project we intend to explore such a connection in order toinvestigate some classical and quantum aspects of the black hole physics, namely:(i) the physical interpretation and visualization of the gravitationalperturbations of AdS black branes; (ii) the transition from theclassical to the quantum regime of black hole perturbations, and theemergence of the AdS spacetime from the entanglement of the degrees offreedom in the dual CFT; (ii) the relation between supersymmetric quantummechanics of the black hole perturbations and the Kerr/AdS duality.
