Abstract

This research project is founded upon the central problematic: "BIOPAC hardware: An alternative didactic resource to the use of non-human animals in the teaching of Human and Comparative Physiology". This research aims to analyze, through questionnaires/interviews using content analysis methodology, concepts and practices of teachers on the use of non-human animals during graduation practical classes and understand the lessons of the hardware Biopac through interaction with the physical model MP36 Student Lab System, in order to formulate plans of General and Comparative Physiology classes, it may be considered to replace the use of non-human animals as a didactical model.
