Differential transcript profile in mesenchymal stem cells obtained from the menstrual flow (MenMSCs) of women with endometriosis

Abstract

This Scientific Initiation (IC) proposal will be held after: 1) the isolation and characterization of mesenchymal stem cells in menstrual flow (MenMSCs) from women with and without endometriosis; 2) determining differential transcripts profile of these cells by comparative analysis via next generation sequencing (RNA-Seq) between cells taken from menstrual blood of healthy women and women with endometriosis. Thus, performed the steps mentioned above, the steps will be initiated to include this proposal: 1) bioinformatics analysis of the data generated after next-generation sequencing of transcripts (RNA-seq) on a large scale; 2) show genes and signaling pathways altered in the samples and relating genes to their biological functions by bioinformatics; 3) Finally, analyze the genes expression by real-time PCR which are selected as candidates for the pathogenesis of endometriosis. Objective: by in silico analysis of data generated by RNA seq; define signaling pathways and altered genes in the comparative study by bioinformatics; relative quantitation of target genes that might be related to the endometriosis development.
