The concrete object of this research is the stock built multifamily residential buildings in the city of Sao Paulo from the 2000s, to be studied from the point of view of the thermal performance of the units and the impacts on urban mobility. The goal is the characterization/quantification of some stock attributes built residential building multi-family in the city of Sao Paulo from the 2000s, including projective and constructive characteristics of the residential units (such as architectural design, implementation, envelope, materiality of construction, characteristics of openings, etc.), which are fundamental to the evaluation of their thermal performance and consequent comfort of the users as well as the relationship between field of units/number of parking spaces/ parking area, the access design and garages and location of buildings in respect of public transport routes, for example, causing impact on urban mobility. The method used is deductive, through literature review and consultations with different databases, and inductive, through field surveys of representative units of the studied universe. The results will be analyzed in comparison between the data collected by means of literature and case studies collected in the field.
