DocCidade: reading of hybrid urban spaces, the documentary as a method

Abstract

This project views to verify the limits and potentialities of using the documentary movie as a way of approximate and represent the hybrid urban spaces, spaces that result from the combination of physical and virtual environments of interaction, building an audio-visual product with urban readings that collect and represent these realities, starting from an esthetic point of view that instigate the immersed public in this experience to realize and meditate on such aspects. The research will be developed at Nomads.usp, Center of Interactive Dwell Studies of IAU-USP, supporting itself in obtained results from the Project of Public Policy Hybrid Territories: Communities, cultural actions and digital media (proc. FAPESP 09/51457-5) and in the Project Frontier Zones, also developed at Nomads.usp, in partnership with German academic groups, with financing from DAAD, Germany. (AU)
