Abstract

This research project aims to examine the rule of public compliance within illegal financing of political parties. First it will be developed a theoretical study distinguishing the concepts of compliance, criminal compliance and public compliance. After that, it will be presented a case analysis regarding public compliance systems adopted by political institutions - whose legal nature and applicable legislation will also be analyzed - in order to identify their impact on corruption prevention within political parties, as well as to identify the possibilities of adoption in Brazil in accordance with national legal framework.
