Abstract

The sustainable supply chain problem can be represented by mathematical optimization models. The planning of these chains, in this project, aims at minimizing costs and the environmental impact and maximizing social criteria. In this way, this project considers a sustainable supply chain multiobjective optimization problem. In the literature, the developed models and methods are evaluated by case studies. In this research internship, the multiobjective optimization model modeled in the main project will be evaluated and improved with case studies of Portugal companies, with which the foreign researcher has intense contact. In addition, experiments with multiobjective optimization models introduced prior to the Research Interniship Scholarship in Exterior will be performed. Finally, data distributions based on the case studies will be produced in order to implement the instance generator provided in the main project. (AU)
