Abstract

We will study the nonlinear effects caused by electromagnetic waves confined in optical micro cavities. The cavities will be fabricated by optical lithography processes in silica substrates, which present third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility. We will study the relationship between the infrared optical modes of these cavities and the third harmonic generation.
