Abstract

This project aims to understand how the crack users located in State of Sao Paulo understand their life histories and experiences of institutionalization and marginalization that have been submitted. The agglomeration of crack users in large Brazilian cities and the large public investment face this substance is instigate many sectors of society to discuss the treatment. But in a scenery where the user (especially if it is poor) has been treated as a criminal, little has been heard his voice, his life story, their opinions and desires. We understand the social condition of the user from the perspective of social psychology, from the dialectic of inclusion/exclusion and ideologies present in capitalism. We will take contact with the research participants (two crack users) in the context of municipal actions of attention to drugs, trying to understand, from in-depth interviews, what they think about their lives and the environment around you. The interviews will be analyzed based on the historical and dialectical materialism. We will have a theoretical reading of speeches, identifying categories of analysis for understanding the determinations of the phenomenon.
