Natural disasters can cause damage in various sectors of a city, especially in the transportation sector. Geographic Information systems enable geographic data visualization, as vectors of traffic zones (polygons adopted as a unit of urban mobility studies) and streets (lines representing the city streets set). The representation of a data structure type complex network (set of vertices and edges representing a complex system) can be made by considering the centroids of traffic areas such as vertex, connected to each other according to the flow of people along the infrastructure of streets (links). This project aims to present a conceptual framework and implementation of computational representation of a Complex Network (with all its analysis) in a Geographic Information System. The presentation of results such is adherent to the risk management context, one subject of national interest, and can be an additional resource to public monitoring policies and natural disaster early warning and sustainable urban planning and resilient against potential impacts of Natural Disasters in the transportation sector.
