Rail transport until the early twentieth century played an important role as trailblazer and inducing economic development of the country and the urbanization process of the cities where the tracks passed. Specifically, in the Sorocaba region, the railroad implantation gave rise to urban centers from its stations. Along with the other buildings built to support the operation of the rail network, these cores configured a significant cultural landscape, recording a time. This research aims to carry out a comparative study between two cities that arose from the expansion of Sorocabana Railway (EFA) to the West Paulista which have common characteristics in its urban training process. The objective is to investigate the origin of the urban centers of the municipalities and hold its morphological analysis.
