The thesis project focuses on the fact that, when considering that the generation of urban climate is obtained by social production through the territorial uneven people in space, the different geographical areas of the cities, with social indicators and geourbanos distributed differentially and distinct levels of thermal comfort, are exposed to different levels of socio-spatial vulnerability. The theoretical-methodological perspective and analytical approach will be made from the theoretical views of the urban climate system (S.C.U), Geography of Climate and social production of urban space, from which it is intended to give visibility to the urban climate as an important variable for defining different "vulnerabilities" for public policy planning and management of cities. This project aims to relate the areas of occurrence and spatial distribution of thermal comfort indexes to the differentiated influence of socio-spatial variables and geourbanas to establish urban geographic sectors more or less vulnerable in Marilia, Presidente Prudente and São Carlos relate at urban climate, thermal comfort and socio Vulnerability. From an integrated study between urban climatology and the social aspects of urban geography aims to understand the degree of particular climate and social vulnerability of cities to study, and their interconnections. Admitting the possibilities and uneven forms of spatial organization of society and decisions to minimize the impact of urban climate - notably the increase in temperature, it is considered that this heterogeneity is constructed by intentional socio-spatial differentiation of social agents in the uneven production of urban spaces. Therefore, the objective is map by census sectors of socio-spatial variables - demographic aspects, population situation, situation of households and analytically trace a profile of interconnection between the pair geographical space (occurrence area) and phenomenon (social indicator). Based on the urban climate, develop a cartographic mapping of geo-environmental characteristics (standard of buildings, relief, slope and aspect) and evaluate the thermal comfort and the spatial distribution of termohigrométricas differences inside and outside residences through fixed climatic monitoring using sensors Date logger/climate logger TFA with external sensor, associated with different types of building materials and the regional climate dynamics. These activities are complemented by the identification of geographical areas with different degrees of socio-spatial vulnerability in the study sites, and give visibility to urban climate, from thermal comfort, as another variable, or that may result from different socio-spatial vulnerabilities. To the end, the thesis deals with the urban climates of cities and social indicators to identify socio-spatial vulnerability, through the spatial distribution of social variables and the measurement of climatic variables, from the perspective of thermal comfort.
