The correct evaluation of the bone condition is essential for periodontal diagnosis. This study aims to examine anatomical and structurally the intraosseous defects, in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images to evaluate aspects of the number of walls and depth of the lesion. The CBCT images will be obtained using the scanner i-CAT (Imaging Science International, Hatfield, PA, USA). The structures will be evaluated using the i-CAT Vison software. All the values will be correlated with the success of periodontal therapy, assessed by clinical and radiographic exams. It is believed that these results will be useful and important in deciding the best periodontal therapy.
