Abstract

Taking as its starting point the idea that cognitively complex constructions are difficult to grasp for every individual who is not involved with community sociocultural logic, this project aims to investigate the appropriation of coding constructs of inaccuracy - complex and inter-subjective - by individuals in limited contact, partial contact or almost complete with the sociocultural context. As informants, this project involves speakers of different native languages (Portuguese, English and German) in the learning process of several heritage languages in addition to Portuguese as a second language and also as a foreign language. It is in our interest to investigate the different levels of inputs to which individuals are exposed in different learning situations. We hypothesized that the diversification of contexts is essential to take place recognition, understanding and the use of coding inaccuracy buildings. We assume further that this concept can be understood only by syntactically more mature speaker and more involved with the culture and that greater access to informal and spontaneous inputs would provide the individual a greater spectrum in the gradation of inaccuracy. Referrals planned to answer the questions and thereby check the validity of the listed cases involve the application of perception tests, understand and use, which presuppose the check through the syntactic encoding of inter-subjectivity, the level of consciousness. We offer qualitative, quantitative and comparative analyzes of data collected through tests applied to informants, in order to check the level of complexity of the strategies employed in the syntactic encoding of inaccuracy.
