This project proposes a study of the operations present in the participation of architects as collaborators Educational Plan of Brasilia, alongside Teixeira who was giving importance to architecture as the protagonist of the democratization of education from its management in the Federal District, Rio de Janeiro. With focus in the constitution of speech modernity who built Brasilia, the research hypothesis assumes that the dialogue between architecture and education, in that historical period, mainly happened from the project the school building, checking to what extent the approach to the ideas of the modern architecture has limited solutions adopted in architectural party from schools.The research even considering other educational premises, in the thinking of Teixeira, were the margin of the architectural operations that have been spacialized your teaching program, as well as left the typology of school-park as the main legacy to the field of architecture and urbanism,influencing various public policies and perpetuating the education field's contribution to the project school building.
