Abstract

The bilingual/bicultural education for the deaf is considered the only suitable model of education for this social group. This constitutes in a form of education that has as the first language (language of dialogue/instruction) the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), and as the second language the written Portuguese language. In this aspect the presence of deaf adults users of the Libras are essential in bilingual/bicultural contexts so it will be guaranteed to the students the appropriation of the language as well as the educational content through interactions with adults and other students users of the Libras. It's acknowledged that all produced discourses are modulated by the discursive genres that we acquire through concrete enunciations that we hear/see and (re)produce in the verbal communication that we established with those that surrounded us. Studies that have the goals of knowing and describe the discursive genres in Libras are still considered scarce. In this context, this project aims to understand how the discursive genres Fables and Legends has been built in relationships between teachers and deaf students in bilingual education schools (which occurs in Libras) revealing if these kind of texts have been consolidated as discursive genres in Libras or if they're still in formation; in this last case we aim to seek if they're suffering a process hybridization where it happens a mixture of two languages/social speeches inside a single enunciation.
