Abstract

This project aims to study the effect of 1, 3 and 5wt.%Zr additions on the phase transformations of the Cu-9wt.%Al-10wt.%Mn-3wt.%Ag alloy using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), optical microscopy (MO) and X-ray diffractions patterns (XRD). The results will give information about phases stability range and microstructure of the Cu-9wt.%Al-10wt.%Mn-3wt.%Ag-Xwt.%Zr alloys.
