The proposed research aims to identify and characterize how teachers in infant education perceive and define the knowledge that mobilized in their daily practices, are linked more directly to the relational dimension of teaching at this level of education. It also aims at discussing the relationship of this order knowledge for the constitution of the teaching profession (CONTRERAS, 2012) by such teachers. The aim is therefore to deepen the theme of teaching knowledge (Tardif, 2010, MALDONADO, 2002; GAUTHIER et al, 1998, etc.), paying particular attention to its relational dimension concerning the personal interactions that teachers routinely establish with students and their parents, with their colleagues and other agents of the school community that are shown as part of their work. The treatment of this theme will include consideration of the current context of universitarization of teaching (Bourdoncle, 2007; Maues, 2003, 2005, SARTI, 2005; 2012; 2013) and its implications for the formation and the identity of teachers. The issue of teachers' knowledge, although widely discussed in the field of educational literature in recent years, has been little explored in relation specifically to teaching carried out in kindergarten. It is considered that such a gap could represent important limits to the process of professional development of teachers who work at this level of education and, accordingly, to the very teaching of the professionalization process then exercised.
