Abstract

The purpose of this research project is to present the stage proposal abroad and the work plan to be held at the school of Human Motricity College at Lisbon University (FMH-UL), in Portugal, which will aim to broaden the study of specific dance literature and critical reflection and based on treatment of the data, as well as participate in scientific meetings, study groups and actions in the context of doctoral studies in Human Motricity. Initially we present the purpose and the justification of ongoing doctoral research with the aim of articulating the research stage, and also with the work plan to be performed during the staying in this Institution. Then was exposed to relevant literature review of teachers continuing education and educational dance proposed by Laban (1978.1990). The steps of action research (THIOLLENT, 2007) for data collection are: bibliographic and documentary research, questionnaire, diary of notes, semi-structured interviews, didactic-pedagogic monitoring, non-participant observation of pedagogical practice and oral and written reports. The research is in the data processing stage. The results discussion will be carried out in the light of literature, through content analysis (BARDIN, 2011).
