Abstract The structures are subject to undesirable mechanical vibrations that imply a malfunction and even his integrity, causing discomfort to operators and users. Due to this fact, there is a need to control the structural vibration levels thus providing stability, security and comfort for operators and users. This research project aims to initiate the student to study the stability of nonlinear dynamical systems, where it intends to demonstrate a study of the dynamic behavior for a vibration absorber.
