Abstract

In this research project we aim to contribute to understand how the currently operates television journalism, to identify the way of the constitution of the ethos discursive Globo News - one of the world's news producers -, focusing on three aspects: advertising, scenographyand positioning. We also sought to determine whether and how is the relationship of this institution with cyberspace and cyberculture, which are inescapably involved in the formation of a contemporary journalistic image, and evaluate to what extent the journalism produced by Globo News meets the fundamental principles of ethics: instrument rules determined by professional activities, which is also produced by the collaboration of users, in order to meet the population's needs. Therefore, we outline certain features of the history of Brazilian television and Rede Globo TV until the arrival paid to the domestic market, which made possible the show up channels in All News format (term used for a station whose programming is strictly journalistic nature). This way shall be selected as reference corpus two advertising campaigns entitled "Never", launched in 2010, and "Information is vital", in 2013, produced by the agency F / Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, five vignettes launched in 2014 and calls programs and applications for mobile channel. The theoretical and methodological approach that we will follow is based on the discursive constitution of ethos, as proposed by Dominique Maingueneau, entered in the theoretical framework of the French tradition of Discourse Analysis.
