Tissue engineering in regenerative endodontics is steps from the application of scaffolds intracanal in humans in order to form a new pulp tissue.However the risk of contamination and infection of the root canal system is a major challenge for clinical implementation. The purpose of this study is to evaluate in vitro biocompatibility of scaffolds that will come into contact with stem cells, aiming at the growth and differentiation of these cells. Therefore, this project will be used nanofiber scaffolds manufactured by eletrospin technique, with the addition of LL-37 peptide (which is a peptide released by neutrophils, capable of neutralizing the tissues loaded with LPS and induce favorable conditions for the regeneration of complex dentino- pulp). These scaffolds containing the LL-37, will be placed on SHED cell cultures, sensitized by LPS. The biocompatibiidade these scaffolds will be examined by cytotoxicity test, by WST assay, and for assessing the genotoxicity through the comet test. The results will be analyzed by ANOVA and multiple comparison Tukey (post hoc), with 5% significance level.
