This project is a part of the FAPESP project #2014/11720-7 with the same title. It deals with the Electric Power Quality (PQ) in aeronautical environments. The More Electric Aircraft (MEA) concept, which aims to replace pneumatic and hydraulic actuators by electromechanical actuators, increases the electric power demand in the airplane. The whole project (doctoral project) aims the study and the implementation of an Electric Power Conditioner (EPC) to mitigate the unwanted effects found in the AC airplane internal feeders. This EPC must operate on a network of variable frequency (360-800Hz). For the internship, the specific objectives are the development a mathematical dynamic model for the multilevel inverter used as EPC and the study of control strategies for this electrical environment. The references for the EPC will determined using the CPT - Conservative Power Theory, that seems to be the better method for variable frequency condition with fast rates, as high as 500Hz/s. Digital or hybrid solutions with DSPs, FPGAs or other microelectronic system will be studied and defined along the project development. (AU)
