The work concerning measurement and identification of different immune components in colostrum and milk are carried out mostly in cattle for dairy breeds, there is no international or national literature, work on the species bubalina. Thus, this project aims to evaluate the colostrais secretions of buffaloes with and without microbial isolation, regarding concentrations of immunoglobulin G, and acute phase proteins. For this purpose, samples of colostrum of 20 female hartebeest, crossbred Murrah to be used. The same determinations will be made in the blood serum of their calves. Colostrum and blood samples will be taken soon after birth and over 48 hours. (AU)
