The objective of this research is to study the social skills as relationships among actors, groups and internal governance units _ of _ (IGU) in a field of strategic actions. For social skill we understand to be the ability of certain individual actors constitute a "positive image of themselves [to] exert influence over other [actors] in their strategic actions in the field" (Fligstein and MCADAM, 2012, p. 47th). By UIG we understand as collective actors whose purpose is to routinize and legitimize the practices and understandings of the field (Fligstein and MCADAM, 2012, p. 205). This project involves a case research of as part of a broader historical file analysis of (Yin, 2005). The project includes two phases. Phase 01 will involve a longitudinal survey, starting from an data extraction of from Lattes platform of all individual actors of the object of study that are Post-Graduate Program (PGP) in the state of São Paulo. The data collected will be membership and professional relationships grouped by year. These data delimit the field, individual actors, collective actors and IGUs. Analysis of documents such as regiments, statutes, laws, national incentive plans and / or induction. Finally, research publications and written speeches of the actors of the field will be realized. At this stage, besides of contextualizing also we will seek to identify moments of rupture processes as adjustments or reconfigurations of the field. Phase 02 is divided into two steps, the step "A" is the study of (individual actors) that emerge from Phase 1, and the step "B" will feature structured interviews by seeking cognitive attributes of networks and relationships. We expect the following results: Identification of relational templates for qualification of skilled social actors; Describe the groups of interest and power groups; Identifying the skilled social actors; Identify the field; and finally, to identify relational social skills.
