The lupin is an oilseed very important in the food of ruminant and human for having high protein content. However, lupin is a plant little cultivated and known scientifically in Brazil, your major production found in Australia. There are some research´s in relation productivity in lupin culture, but still notice certain shortage in work´s, specially the knowledge in the periods of coexistence and control weed plant in culture, that will help in management strategies. With this, the present work have the objective to determine the period before the interference (PBI), the total period of precaution to interference (TPPI) and, as a consequence, the critic period of precaution to interference (CPPI) of weed in lupin (Lupinus albus). However, it will be developed an experiment in randomized blocks, with experimental treatment will contain two groups: in the first, the culture will remain free from the interference of weed plant since emergence until the development cycle: 0-15; 0-25; 0-35; 0-45; 0-55; 0-65; 0-75 days and 0-harvest. In the second group of treatment, will occur the opposed, the culture will remain in the same area as the weed plant since emergence until the same development of the cycle previously describe. In both groups, the plots will remain clean with manual weeding. At the end of each period of coexistence and the beginning of each period of control, the weed plants present in the two samples of 0,25 m² taken randomly In each experimental plot the weeds will be identified, counted, removed and dried. With samples data will be calculated the relative density (RDe), relative frequency (RF), relative dominance (RDo) and relative importance (RI) from each species. In the final experimental period, to lupin harvest, will be counted an harvest the plants existence in three meters from two central lines. With counting data will be establish the culture stand and the harvest grain will be have heavy, with your weight subsequently adjusted to 13% of humidity. From harvest grains will also be determined the weight of 100 grans. The data will be analysis of variance using F test, average will be compared using Tukey test and to determine interference period (PBI, TPPI e CPPI) will be utilized the data of lupin productivity, submit to regression using Boltzmann sigmoidal model.
