New biomimetic sorbents for chromatographic analysis

Abstract

This application has the purpose to obtain partial funding for our visit as visiting researcher to the Laboratoire Sciences analytiques, Bioanalytiques et miniaturization of ESPCI / ParisTech (École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de Paris, France) under the supervision of Prof.Dr. Valérie Pichon. The focus of our research in be ESPCI will be the preparation, purification and characterization of highly selective or specific sorbents based on Biomimetic interaction technologies and their potential application in relevant bioanalytical problems (especially related to Metabolomics of plant and fungi line, active research linesin our laboratory). This laboratory is one of the leading centers in the world in investigations on these topics. Beyond this stage, we also intend to devote time to the processing and interpretation of data, the writing of articles and manuscripts and other technical provisions necessary for implementing studied in our research group technologies. We expect to spend three months at ESPCI, two of them as Jolliot Foreign Visiting Scholar. Our demand here has the purpose to fund our last month as visiting researcher, as well as to provide air ticket and health insurance.
