Abstract

The Heck-reaction represents an important tool for the formation of carbon-carbon bonds. A variant of this type of reaction, where salts of arenediazonium salts are employed as arilants reagents in the presence of palladium catalysts, is called Heck-Matsuda reaction. In the last few years, the Heck-Matsuda reaction has been further improved, particularly concerning the enantioselective reaction by using N,N- ligands as quirality inductors. However, the intramolecular version of this reaction remains unexplored. This research project intends to further advance the Heck-Matsuda enantioselective intramolecular reaction employing arenediazonium salts.
