This project consists of the description of the activities to be held at the Universidad de Córdoba. These analyzes are unique the project and complementary those already made in the original project, and will enable the objectives to be achieved with higher quality. With this project aims to: a) assess the potential of using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in the characterization of iron oxides, physical, chemical and soil erosion factors; b) to map specific areas of management in commercial areas from the predicted attributes by chemometrics; c) to evaluate the accuracy of maps of soil attributes generated by chemometrics. Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy analysis will be performed in the range of the visible (380-800 nm) in portable and mid-infrared range (2500-16666 nm nm) in bench top equipment in samples from the area 1 (500 hectares) and 2 (800 hectares) (total approximately 780 samples).These analyzes are unique in the project and are not likely to be held on the premises of the institution project in Brazil due to a lack of equipment. The spectra obtained will be used for the prediction of physical, chemical and iron oxides envisaged in the original design. The prediction of the attributes using the spectra will be performed by chemometrics. All predicted attributes will be subjected to statistical analysis and geostatistics for the evaluation of dependence and spatial variability. Maps using the values of the predicted attributes in the two areas will be constructed and validated for accuracy. (AU)
