Abstract

Over time, the structure became more willowy and flexible, but more vulnerable to dynamic vibrations. These vibrations can cause security or operational failures rendering it unfeasible or uncomfortable to use structure. In both the situation is necessary to study and properly evaluate the structures so that they perform optimally its role. Thus, in recent years have invested heavily in research and development of vibration control tools to improve the behavior of structures under external vibrations. The objective of this work is to study the behavior of a structure vulnerable to the occurrence of excessive vibration caused by a non-ideal power source. (AU)
