This project aim to study the spectroscopic and electroanalytical properties of different organically modified hybrid cubic silsesquioxanes based materials. The specific objectives of this project can be summarized in three steps. In a first step, we want to prepare and characterized by different techniques such as Infrared (FTIR), UV-Visible (UV-Vis), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR-solid), Microscopy Scanning Electron and thermogravimetric (DTA - TGA), the nanocomposite octa (3-chloropropyl) octasilsesquioxano organofunctionalized with a triazole , PAMAM dendrimer (G.0) and Benzimidazol groups. In a second step, we intend to make a systematic study on the electrochemical properties of these materials, after the formation of hybrid nanocomposites of metal complexes with pentacyanoferrate, employing electrochemical technique as cyclic voltammetry and solid electrodes and graphite paste as working electrode. In a third stage, after optimization of the electrochemical system is intended to test these materials, as sensors for the determination of species of the biological and environmental interest, mainly employing the techniques of square wave voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry.
