Within the scope of bioenergy production studies, this project will focus on the assessment of an AnSBBR applied to the treatment of effluent from an acidogenic reactor. The acidogenic reactor effluent will come from the treatment of vinasse-based wastewater in the production of biohydrogen, consisting, likely, of the main intermediate compounds of anaerobic metabolism (mainly ethanol and butanol, acetic, propionic and butyric acid). In this study, the following will be assessed: production of biogas (methane and carbon dioxide), reactor stability and efficiency when subjected to increased organic load, which will be modified as a function of increasing influent concentration.
