This research proposal aims to establish a dialogue with researchers from the Laboratoire interdisciplinaire d'études sur les réflexivités, research center linked to the École des hautes études en sciences sociales. The main goal of this research is to deepen the study of pragmatical sociology, in order to understand better the the orders of justification mobilized by social agents in controversies involving the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. For this, a huge bibliographical research is going to be done around authors who use the sociology of critique to analyze phenomenons in which religious agents take part, as well the supervision of Professor Nicolas Dodier, with whom I'll keep an important dialogue. This PhD research proposal also has as an objective the ethnographic work in Paris, in order to follow the activities of Universal Church and the justification process of social agents linked to the institution, specially those mobilized to constitute it as a religion and not as a sect, as it's categorized by the French government.
