Abstract

In this work, it is intended to study the formation process of ultrathin films by the self-assembly technique, applied on Organic Photovoltaic Devices, particularly those with Bulk Heterojunction Organic Solar Cells (BH-OSC), which has a thin film structure of anode/buffer layer/active layer/cathode. In this study, the employed materials for buffer layer will be polyaniline (PAni) and sulfonated polystyrene (PSS). As active layer, it will be used materials derivate of thiophene and polyphenylene vinylene (PPV). The link between the methodology, the used material and the morphology of the thin films will be made based on the extracted parameters and calculated results, such as Fill Factor (FF) and Power Conversion Energy (PCE).
