This research focuses on the formation of the National Citizens Movement for Life - Brazil without Abortion, in 2006, in the context of regulation of sexual and reproductive rights in Brazil, beginning in the Lula government. The aim is to know the formation and dynamics of anti-abortion mobilizations as conter movement to the movement of pro-life groups and state policies decriminalization. Based on the theory of the political process, the research will focus the political-institutional training environment countermovement (opportunities and political constraints), organizations, institutions, networks and campaigns that support mobilization (mobilization structures), the meanings and discursive strategies and the repertoire of collective action. Finally, the project ambition also is to identify and assess the impact of anti-abortion demonstrations about the ongoing process of regulation of abortion in Brazil. (AU)
