Abstract

Aplastic anemia is a disease characterized by a partial or complete bone marrow failure, through a pluripotent Stem Cell Hematopoietic (HSC) assault, leading to decline and even absence of bone marrow. The treatment is typically given by HSC transplantation and administration of immunosuppressive drugs, but these processes are restricted since the necessity of cell compatibility to the effects of this drug. Thus, the search for new hematologic malignancies therapies has been continuously growing. And in the current knowledge of autocrine and paracrine promising ability of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC) in hematological diseases, these cells have the potential to treat aplastic marrow disease without manifesting effects experienced with the use of CTH (graft-host) and immunosuppressive drugs. Also, has not demonstrated the use of dental pulp MSC heterologous and cryopreserved for the treatment of bone marrow aplasia. Thus, the project proposes the use of MSC derived from human dental pulp to treat aplastic marrow in aplasic induced mice. (AU)
