Associated to the scholarship:12/07284-1 - Asymmetric synthesis and biological evaluation of hydantoins and derivatives, BP.DD

The proposed work plan is directly related to the Ph.D. project developed in the PPGQ-UFSCar that includes, among other topics, the search for heterocyclic compounds with potential biological activity against the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, strictly related to Alzheimer's disease. The project proposal for the internship abroad consists on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds using flow reactors as synthetic tool. The main advantages of flow reactors are the possibility of performing reactions in large scale, as well as the safer use of considerably dangerous reagents. (AU)
