This research project proposes the study of the methodological and interventional tool in the work statement instruction to the double, which is defined as an indirect instrument of access to the human psyche that aims to provide the possibility of a person in a work situation, applications know , analyze and extend your ability to act and transform their own work. The instruction to the double has been developed by the Clinic of Activity, part of Work Psychology, and has as its foundation the Historical-Cultural Psychology of Vigotski. The objective of the research is to analyze the applications of the statement instruction to the double on research that resulted in the production of dissertations and doctoral theses completed in Brazilian Graduate Programs. Specifically, the work completed between 1987 and 2013 will be analyzed by considering the data made available electronically on "Banco de Teses da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior" (CAPES). It is intended to identify and analyze the similarities and differences in the use of the instruction to double the work produced in Brazil compared to the use of this device by the researchers of Clinic of Activity and even check and discuss how this instrument is used in different areas of academic knowledge and different universities. At the end of the present work is expected, and organized data on the use of the instruction to double in academic papers in the country, also a set of instructions, discussions and analysis that contribute to the improvement and contextualization to Brazil this instrument.
