Creative process in a collaborative context in contemporaneity: cartographies of the present conditions of creation in interactive digital art

Abstract

This project proposes to investigate the current conditions in the creation of interactive arts, placed by a complex and collaborative context, and potentialized by digital technologies. By participating in the creative process of two artistic projects: AirCity Research and ZL Vórtice, it will be studied and mapped aspects that are linked to practices in urban spaces and that allow the emergence of new aesthetic, poetic patterns and forms of expression. It also proposes to investigate the characteristics of these creation conditions, in order to produce a map oriented by such characteristics and conditions. In this sense, we will investigate the dynamics, complex, collaborative and open nature of these productions, contributing to the understanding of the concept of design in the contemporary world. The approach will be made by Cartography Method, which is able to grasp this object in its systemic, open to the emergence of expressive qualities character, making it possible to identify components of a new paradigm of creation. The mapping will be in the form of an online collaborative map of contemporary productions that somehow indicate or express such transformations in the act of creation, projection and implementation, having the cited productions as a main reference, and that may also have significant consequences after being published on the Internet.
