Abstract

The objective of this work is to develop and evaluate binary metal oxides catalysts compounds by varying composition of niobium, molybdenum, zirconium and cobalt supported on Printex 6L carbon in the study of the Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR) aimed at electrogeneration hydrogen peroxide. The development of this project will be carried out in two consecutive steps: initially the production of binary oxides will occur and tests for characterization of the developed materials and also the best way of preparation will be conducted. After experiments to select the best materials with a tendency to RRO for two electrons mechanism will be developed. The analysis is done by calculation of current efficiency, and also the number of electrons involved in the reaction. (AU)
