Abstract

The stage in Portuguese archives and libraries is fundamental for the continuity of the PhD research on development in Brazil. The documental and bibliographic research aim to understand the relationships of Manuel Joaquim Rebelo in the framework of the society, and the luso-brazilain thinkers. These data will expand the knowledge of political economy ideas formulated in the context of luso-brazilian empire, at the final of 18th and early 19th centuries. The stage will clarifies the range of thought by Political Economy's author, at the moment of the work's writing or subsequent of that. (AU)
