Abstract The comprehension of the accelerated expansion of the universe can have meaningful implications in several fields of physics, such as gravitation, particle physics, quantum filed theory a cosmology itself. One of the most stimulating areas of modern cosmology is the study of large scale structure. Large optical surveys of galaxies, such as the Dark Energy Survey (DES), will have complementary cosmological tests that make powerful tools to analyse problems of cosmological origin. Among these tests are the spacial distribution and the abundance of galaxy clusters as a function of the mass and redshift, intrinsically associated with the primordial perturbations of the universe and the cosmic evolution. The goal of this project is the study and computational analysis of galaxy clusters and its constraints on cosmological models through collaborations such as the DES. (AU) | |
