ADHD in schools: educational activities ludo-fight for this phenomenon and desenvolvovimento voluntaries attention in children of basic education

Abstract

A growing number of children assessed with learning disorders, the most known and popular, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). With the increase of these diagnoses, medication use, seeking greater "control" over the actions of children also grew and has generated great concern in the school environment. This study aims to present ideas that oppose the nomination and utilization of medicalization for treatment of learning disabilities, considering interventions and ludo - educational research that has been conducted in a public school in Presidente Prudente - SP and LAR ( Laboratory Activities Ludo - pedagogical ) of UNESP Presidente Prudente, next to children diagnosed with ADHD . Intervention activities are carried out by members of GEIPEE (Study Group , Intervention and Research in School Education ) and we emphasize that the basis of observations they see being made in interventions , ADHD phenomenon as well as the use of medicalization , need become a research task, we propose in this research project , arguing that the work of teachers is of paramount importance to overcome learning difficulties, ADHD among them , experienced by the children in school.
