Abstract The present research has, as first objective, to read and organize the informations present in the "Livro 473 do Conselho Geral do Santo Ofício" (Book 473 of the Holly Office's General Council), archived in the Torre do Tombo. This document presents an index of officials and ministers of the Inquisition, judged by privileged forum, besides information about the proceedings. Through the analysis of this document, we'll seek to understand the running and real reach of this privilege among the Inquisition's officials.
