Abstract

This design of the Research Internship Abroad Scholarship (BEPE) is integrated with research at Masters level project, approved by the FAPESP, entitled "Environmental Planning and Zoning River Basin Fountainhead Balneario Friendship - São Paulo - Brazil" case n. 2013/11428-1, which has aimed to continue the studies applied in Basin fountainhead Balneario Friendship initially conducted research as undergraduates (FAPESP 2010/19841-7) and work completion bachelor's degree in Geography, which are grounded in the theoretical and methodological propositions Rodriguez (1994). In this context, the work plan and the project schedule Masters aforementioned predicted to an internship abroad for six months , at the Ludwig - Maximilians - Universitat Munchen (LMU) in Munich, Germany, by submitting this proposal now submit for assessment of FAPESP. Thus, we intend to conduct the internship abroad by the " Research Group of Geography and Landscape Ecology " , the aforementioned university, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Peter Hasdenteufel, enabling the exchange of experiences and improvement of techniques and methodologies for environmental planning and zoning watershed, identification and analysis of the situation in areas of permanent preservation and use of Geographic Information Systems , which analyzed the experiences and methodologies that can be applied in our research in Brazil. The research group "Geography and Landscape Ecology" of the Ludwig - Maximilians - Universitat Munchen (LMU) , consists , in addition to Professor Dr. Peter Hasdenteufel by several renowned researchers such as Prof. Dr. O. Baume and Prof. Dr. Rogner, which develop research on environmental issues such as nature conservation, sustainable development strategies in watersheds, among others. Justifies the importance of overseas training , the experience and the necessary dialogue with researchers who share theoretical and methodological frameworks on environmental issues, systemic and integrated approach to the environment, using the environmental planning for the development of environmental zoning , with the application of tools of Geographic Information Systems as well as the knowledge of its application in different contexts and situations the natural , social, economic and cultural aspects of Brazil and Germany. However, we intend to participate in discussions , meetings and study groups with researchers in the University , conduct fieldwork in river basins in the country , in order to obtain information on developing techniques and studies in environmental planning and zoning and how GIS is used in these studies. This step will be important to identify interfaces between research on the theme developed in Brazil and Germany , leaving for a comparative analysis - descriptive. (AU)
