Abstract

This research project aims to collect and analyze, through a feminist perspective, the works of art of Brazillian women composers in the century XX, trying an effort of fulfilling an absence frequently approached by press and specialized publications about the almost inexistence of women on the art of musical composition, in special until years 1960. Theoretically and methodologically the work will fix its north on the studies of gender and on the French Theory, mainly in Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze.
