The biblical narrative of 1 Kings presents the dynasty of Omri negatively and incomplete (1 Kings 16.25,26,30; 21.25,26). The biblical text of Kings was written or at least edited in the South, after Israel no existed as a nation. This favored Judah, because was the need to legitimize the Davidic dynasty. Thus, the texts referring to the northern kingdom, were written or edited by presenting a vision pejorative. However, archaeological evidence present a new vision and understanding of the dynasty omrida and the northern kingdom. During omrida Israel reached its peak accretion and greater than Judah in the south. This research aims to analyze the light of exegesis and archeology, the kingdom of Israel during the dynasty 'Omri.
