Strongly coupled relativistic fluids have been thoroughly investigated in recent years, especially after the discovery of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions at RHIC and LHC.The transport properties of these systems were already analyzed within the formalism of the correspondence AdS/CFT. The transport coefficients were obtained through an expansion of velocity gradients and the small value of the ratio between the shear viscosity and the entropy density is consistent with the properties of the QGP observed experimentally. However, for weakly coupled systems, it is possible to show using the Boltzmann equation and the moments method that a relaxation time scale must appear to ensure causality. The dissipative tensor becomes a dynamic variable of the theory and it satisfies a differential equation, which must be solved together with the other equations that stem from energy-momentum conservation. The main purpose of this work is to understand how the dissipative tensor becomes a dynamic variable in strongly coupled fluids using AdS/CFT, to find the equivalent of the moments method in AdS/CFT, as well as to investigate the origin of the relaxation parameter in strongly coupled relativistic fluids.
