This qualitative research investigates the activity of psychologists concerning the subejct of ethnic/racial relations and in what way the race/ethnicity category and racism appear in its routine of work. The data collection includes bibliographic survey and contents analysis of documents, book, articles, dissertations and thesis in the psi field (Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Social Psychology) about this subject and interviews with psychologists. Professionals that work on the areas of: Public Health (Psychossocial Attention Centers and Hospitals), Psychological Clinics (privates), Human Resources (Public and Private Companies), Social Assistance (Social Assistances Reference Centersand other public organizations) and Education (public and private schools) will be interviewed. By these interviews it is intended to be collected information about how the demands of the black population appear in the psychologic practice and if there is any procedure to deal with prejudice, racial driscriminations and racism. The interviews will be conducted untill the saturation of information is reached.It is expected to perform at least 20 interviews of which:
