Abstract

This research is part of a larger project entitled: "The Cultural Development of the Human Being: Implications into the Pedagogical Practices" based on the Cultural-Historical Theory and proposes to analyze the scientific contributions that the neuroscience has offered to the teaching and learning school processes. The main objective is to identify and to analyze the results of researches in the neuroscience area focused on questions about the teaching and learning school processes. The Theoretical referential which will support data collection is the Cultural-Historical Theory, supported by the Marxist dialectical method. Such presuppositions involve a research practice go to search of the study object roots, analyzing in its entirety, in this case, the contribution of neuroscience to the education. The study will be bibliographical nature and will have as methodological tool a reading screenplay to be elaborate from three elements: 1) identification of the work, 2) characterization of the work and 3) contributions of the work for the study. The data will be grouped by similarities and differences to the categories of analysis lifting arising from the Cultural-Historical Theory, and also from the data collected. The analysis of the results will be realized through the Cultural-Historical Theory in neuroscience area by the crossing of the analysis categories raised from the grouping of data. We hope to foment the discussion about the contribution of the neuroscience to the education, expanding the possibilities of the teachers'pedagogical work.
